Hard to believe that the first quarter of 2021 is almost over. While our days are sometimes very long, the months have been flying by and I am grateful for that. The double diagnosis of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Cancer has been beyond overwhelming and very rough at times. If we are feeling this, I can only imagine how Tanner would describe this journey, so I had to ask him. In his own words this is what he said, “It’s been challenging and fretting at times. But I have met some really great people and have made some new friends.”
I have t admit this broke my heart. At the same time, I felt such pride in his ability to see some good in one of his greatest challenges. I love being both Tanner and Pria’s mom. Anyways, without getting to sappy, I must say I have grate kids.
Anyways I am keeping this update rather short only because I am exhausted from this whirlwind crazy roller coaster ride, we have been on. However, you can read more updates on our Caring Bridge site. I have included the link here as well as the link to order Tanner’s warrior ware, "Stronger than Duchenne and kicking cancers butt”. I will do my best to updated again soon. Thank you all for praying and loving on our family.
